School Programs

The Royal Alberta Museum is a great place to learn! Our educators are excited to welcome your class back to RAM for some fantastic Alberta-centered programming, perfect for grades 1-6.  Join us for engaging, experiential learning about Alberta's people, nature, and landscapes that make up our province's rich history.

Thank you for your support for the 2023/2024 school year!

Our facilitated programs are fully booked for the 2023-2024 school year.
We encourage you check back on our booking calendar as dates may come available.

Please consider booking one of our other field trip options:

Self Conducted Programs give you all-day access to the museum with guiding booklets for independent exploration.

Rent an Object Kit and bring museum artifacts to your classroom.

Stay tuned for our announcement of facilitated programs for the following year!

Sensory Kits and Maps

  • The museum is a special place! It can also be a bit overwhelming. Here are some tools we've put together to support neurodivergent visitors to the museum. Free to use, inquire at Admissions Desk.

French language supports

  • Self-conducted student journals are now available in French. Additionally, our permanent gallery signage is multilingual in English, French, and relevant Indigenous languages. While booking your self conducted program, please identify if you would like to receive French materials as opposed to English materials.
