The Royal Alberta Museum is located at 9810 103a Ave NW.

Public parking is available in close proximity to the Royal Alberta Museum. The museum is also located near transit and includes pedway access via the Churchill LRT station. The City of Edmonton underground pedway is open 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.

Construction Update:

As of March 11, 2024, sections of 99 Street (north of 102A Avenue) and 103A Avenue (between 99-100 Street) are closed to vehicle traffic due to underground pedway construction. This includes a temporary closure of the accessible parking stalls near the museum's West entrance for the duration of construction.

Visitors can find accessible parking at the following nearby public parkades:

  • City Hall Parkade – five accessible stalls
  • Library Parkade – 13 accessible stalls
  • Canada Place Parkade – six accessible stalls
  • Edmonton City Centre West Parkade – 11 accessible stalls

Each of the above parkades has its own pricing rates, and the stalls are not specifically reserved for Royal Alberta Museum visitors.

Bicycle parking is located northwest of the main entrance. Find more information on parking downtown. You can also plan your trip using etstripplanner.edmonton.ca or by phoning 311.

The museum also has a dedicated drop-off location for buses and large groups, as well as visitors with mobility considerations at the east entrance of the museum on 99 street.
