November 21, 2024 – June 22, 2025
Discover connections between art and science in RAM’s latest temporary exhibition, conceived by researchers from the University of Alberta’s Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute and the Faculty of Arts.
CONNECTIONS is a collection of artworks and scientific images that portrays aspects of neuroscience, brain diseases and mental health disorders, and their intersections with art and life.
This collection was born from a desire to build links among the scientific community at the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute (NMHI) at the University of Alberta, patients with neurological and mental health disorders and the community at large.
In this exhibition you’ll discover the beautiful linkages that exist among our brain cells; weave together the threads of neuroscience research, clinical care, and recovery from brain diseases and mental health disorders; immerse yourself in the inspiring, healing power of art; and highlight the humanity in our connections.
Learn more about CONNECTIONS on the University of Alberta’s website.
