We are thrilled to welcome Connie Kulhavy as a guest artist on Thursday, December 5, from 3 – 6 pm at the Museum Shop. Connie will create a cozy space in the Shop where she’ll showcase her beadwork, share stories, and connect with Museum visitors while selling her stunning art. So, grab a chair and join us! The shop is pre-admission and always free to visit.

Here’s a little about Connie: Connie Kulhavy is a Métis Artist in Residence living and working on Treaty 6, Region 4 in Edmonton, AB. With over 20 years in Education, she has dedicated herself to sharing her Métis culture and history, while also implementing Indigenous curriculum. Born in Hay River, NT, Connie cherishes memories of the northern lights, snow snake games, and walking to school among the changing birch leaves. She has generously shared her remarkable talents across museums, libraries, schools, festivals, galleries, and companies throughout Canada.
