The Great Western Garment Company
The Great Western Garment Company (GWG) was established in 1911 during a time when Edmonton was experiencing an economic boom. It's first factory was located a block away from the new Royal Alberta Museum. For almost 100 years, GWG made garments that were all about practicality, functionality, durability and looking smart. The exhibit examines what made GWG Great, what made GWG Western and what made GWG Garments special. Also discover the special relationship the Great Wayne Gretzky had with GWG.
This temporary exhibition runs until July 5, 2020.
